2023 MIHSSCA Clinic and AGM

The 2023 clinic and AGM are set to be held March 11th at Detroit Country Day HS Indoor Facility from 9am – 5pm.

Clinic Schedule (subject to speaker change)
9am – Ian Barker (former USC Education Director)
10am – Mo Hijazi (Michigan Jags WSL Women’s Head Coach)
11am – Gabe Romo (MSU Women’s Assistant Coach)
noon – 1:30pm – AGM and Lunch
1:30pm – Ian Barker
2:30pm – Ryan Sounders and Staff (Calvin University Men’s Head Coach)
3:30pm – Ian Barker

Session topics will be provided at check in, along with any notes or handouts from the presenters.

Lunch will be provided by the Association from Jimmy Johns.  Lunch will include a sandwich, chips, and water.

An agenda for the AGM, again will be provided at check in.  Some of the topics covered at the AGM will include:
1. Ex Directors report
2. Presidents report – to include updates from MHSAA
3. Treasuers report
4. Filling of vacant board positions – there are 4 openings on the board.  If you would like to nominate someone for one of this sports please send us an email so we can put their name on the ballot (misoccercoaches@gmail.com).  Nominations will also be accepted at the AGM.
5. Membership discussion – information will be provided about a dual membership (United Soccer Coaches and MIHSSCA) and the benefits this will serve.

Please remember the clinic is free to all members of the MIHSSCA and their staff members.  This is one of the benefits being a member provides.
